What are your results?
Photo Samples: Children, Other Portraits, Centenarians, Exhibitions, Events, Publication Covers

Do you have special rates for non-profit organizations?
Yes, of course. And sliding scale for aspiring artists and online daters.

How long does a photo session last?
Depends on your project, portrait photo sessions last up to 5 hours.

Where are photo sessions?
Most portrait photo sessions start at the client’s home, neighborhood, or workplace. I will be curious to know if you want to go anywhere else, such as a local park, someone else’s home, church, recital, game, etc.

What to wear for portrait photo session?
I suggest you wear your favorite everyday clothes plus feel free to make as many outfit, costume, and uniform changes as you want.

Do you edit your own photos?
Yes. I do all my own editing and color correction.

What are metal prints?
I am recommending metal prints. The cost is higher than paper but a stunning reproduction and durable to last for generations. Metal prints preserve photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. The image stability is 2 to 4 times that of traditional silver based photo papers. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight.

What are bamboo mounts?
I love this clean and natural look to display metal prints. 3⁄4 inch thick bamboo mounts are made from organically grown, renewable, and FSC certified bamboo that is beautiful and friendly to our environment.

How far will you travel?
Worldwide, though I am based in Cambridge MA USA. Message me to discuss any far-flung travel ideas and I am in New York City frequently.

How long does it take to receive proofs after photo sessions?
Within 5 business days you receive 100 to 120 online proofs for viewing and choosing. Rush is possible.

Do you only photograph children?
While I am best known for photographing children for NYChildren, I have a lot of experience with Other Portraits, Centenarians, Exhibitions, Events, Publication Covers/Editorial.

Do you also do group and family shots?
Yes. Even when the focus is the children or one person, time can be taken for group shots with parents, family members, friends.

Do you photograph newborns?
Yes. I prefer to photograph infants in low natural light.

Do you also do professional headshots?
Yes. I do portrait photography artists, executives, actors, authors, and academics, and more.

Do you also shoot events?
Yes. I want to hear more about your event to determine if I am the right photographer for you. For large events I will likely recommend that I bring an assistant to be a second photographer to guarantee your event is thoroughly covered.

What’s your policy for rescheduling?
I am very flexible.

What happens if it is raining?
If we schedule an outdoor shoot, then overcast skies are very good for my style of photography. However, if on the morning of our photo session it looks like heavy rain, rescheduling is possible.
